The latest addition to aid Lymphatic Drainage
It is called Hivamat 200
and this is a device that delivers a patented therapy called Deep Oscillation.
Manufactured by a German company Physiomed Elektromedizin, This therapy has been
around for 25 years but was only brought into UK in March 2007.
Lymphatic drainage therapist, osteopaths, physiotherapists and Equine
Therapists are already using it with great success.
How
does Hivamat work?
It
complements very well the gentle movement of lymphatic drainage. It
delivers mild electrostatic pulses to a depth of 8 -12cm. It breaks apart and
shakes up metabolic waste, acids, protein built up and cytokines. It also
activates the lymphatic system so the body is able to move out the waste

beauty of the device is as an MLD therapist I am using the tissue manipulation
skills
that I have been taught. The only difference is I am applying the method with a pair
of vinyl gloves.
